The brief
Point.1920 arrived with a design problem rather than a product: a table surface that would read as hand-woven Moroccan craft while behaving like outdoor furniture.
The work
The top went through successive prototypes until the weave sat flat and even across the full diameter — the hard part of any woven surface that has to work as a table rather than as a decorative panel. Once the form held, it went into series production.
