The brief
Ourika wanted an exclusive ceramic collection marked with its emblem, and wanted the mark to belong to the object rather than sit on top of it the way a printed label does.
The work
The emblem was worked by hand into each piece by potters in Morocco, and the collection was finished with resin detail and wooden bead accents — three materials, each belonging to a different trade, assembled into one branded object.
