The brief
Olori was launching its inaugural collection and wanted both halves of its story present in a single object: handwoven textiles brought from Nigeria, and leather.
The work
The textiles were shipped to Fes and worked against local leather by the city’s most experienced bag-makers. The difficulty in a piece like this is registration — holding a woven pattern square and consistent where it meets a cut leather panel, across a whole production run rather than on one good sample.
We work with Aziz to make handcrafted products, and the quality of his work is excellent. He is knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with.
Bring us a drawing, a sample, or an idea
We will tell you honestly whether it can be made by hand in Morocco, at what quality, and in what time. First sampling usually begins within two weeks.
