Mr Hassan Ayach Master craftsman of Slippers

As he Insists to talk about his Handicap, he always want to prove that the person handicap is not really a handicap only if he’s handicapped with ignorance and without motivation.

Leaving the school at the age of 8 years old after a strong fever obliged him not to walk, Hassan Ayach still a young child decided to learn a handicraft trade to win his life as any person in the society. He started learning how to make babouches from his Master and work with him for 14 years. Today Hassan he’s one of the best Babouches maker in fez, and also a Teacher in a craftsmanship School.

In addition of making slippers, he has also high skills to realize any prototype of handcrafted shoes or other leather items, as the donkey he’s done of 90 cm high totally made from a cow leather for the National museum of world cultures in Netherlands as illustrated in the pictures.
